ABOUT US

Hi, I’m a 60-year-old working mom and grandmother with over 35 years of experience wrangling resources and people to get things done. As a veteran of the corporate world, with decades under my belt supporting top executives, I’ve developed the skills and the network to make magic happen.

By day I’m a Chief Administrator to a former Fortune 500 CEO, where I work with one of the greatest teams ever—and by night my superpower is having more big ideas and projects than there are hours in the day.

The #1 thing you need to know about me? When there’s a cause I’m passionate about, I’m like a dog with a bone. Just try and stop me. And family always comes first. If you mess with my kids, you’re messing with me.

Our Story:

A few years ago, after struggling with depression for a long time, my youngest daughter came out as queer. My husband and I are pretty liberal parents, and we always kind of suspected, but we knew she had to express her identity on her own terms, and that’s just fine with us.

Our fiercest wish has always been that our daughter is free to be who she was meant to be, and that she is afforded the same pursuit of happiness as the rest of us. Now, she’s in a committed relationship with a woman we adore, and all seems right in our world. My kid’s happy, I’m happy.

And yet—our family’s happiness is under attack. The political world right now is polarizing, and some people are hellbent on taking away the basic rights of the LGBTQIA+ community and spreading hate and division for so many ignorant reasons I won’t justify here.

That’s why I decided to put all my grit and know-how into a new platform, PrideForward, a place for this great community to get their Pride On!.

As parents, we need to support our children and create a coalition to change the hateful narratives targeting our beloved LGBTQIA+ family members.

I’m ready to put my business and mama-bear skills to work to move pride forward. But I can’t do it alone. We all have superpowers. Let’s start using them—together. If we join forces, we can send a message to the world: You mess with our kids, you’re messing with us.
